Dan Dvorak is a Principal Engineer in JPL’s Engineering Development Office, where he supports an institutional initiative on Integrated Model-Centric Engineering and co-leads NASA’s Software Architecture Review Board. His interests include model-based systems engineering, software control architectures for robotic systems, and fault management. Dan joined JPL in 1996 after a career at Bell Laboratories. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin, an MS in Computer Engineering from Stanford University, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
